Dr. Richard Shapiro has been practicing dentistry in Livingston for fourteen years. Dr. Shapiro graduated from The State University of New York at Buffalo with an undergraduate degree in Biology. He graduated from Georgetown Dental School in 1982. As medicine has gotten more and more impersonal, Dr. Shapiro and his staff work extra hard to make your visits a friendly, caring and personal experience. He has a family practice and enjoys treating children as well as adults. He does cosmetic dentistry and dental implants. This can make dramatic changes in your smile and comfort. Porcelain crowns and invisible fillings are also performed. Dr. Shapiro maintains a preventative dental practice. He and his staff try to help you improve your dental health by teaching you how to prevent dental disease. Consultations on breath control are also available. Dr. Shapiro is a member of the American, New Jersey and Essex county dental societies. He is also very active as a board member of the Newark Dental Study Club.
