David M. Feder is the managing partner of Feder & Newfeld, P.C. a CPA firm located in Livingston, NJ. Mr. Feder has extensive experience in the field of public accounting with over thirty years of experience beginning with, five years of experience at Arthur Andersen & Co; six years of experience as an Assistant Professor of Accounting at Brooklyn College; and more than 20 years of experience managing an accounting firm. He has been extensively involved with the acquisitions and dispositions of closely held businesses and, has consulted with small business owners regarding estate & gift tax planning. Mr. Feder's firm provides assistance to small business owners by performing Audits, Reviews and Compilations of financial statements as well as providing tax preparation services for businesses and individuals. For more than 20 years, Mr. Feder has been focusing on representing individuals and businesses in dealing with the various taxing authorities. To date he has represented hundreds of individuals and businesses before the Internal Revenue Service; negotiating successful payment plans and Offers-In-Compromise. Mr. Feder has a BA in Political Science from New York University and an MBA degree in accounting and finance from Long Island University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New Jersey Society of CPAs, and the New York State Society of CPAs. He is licensed as a CPA in the States of New Jersey and New York. Mr. Feder is also the Director of the Suburban CPA Study Group, an organization that provides continuing professional education to other CPAs. |
